last night, dh and i wanted to watch Narnia, and for a cool change, we moved the couch parallel to the tv, so we could see it really well. this morning, i did a little rearranging, and now, have the couch there permanently. when we first moved in, the couch was against the windows, and we also had a chez lounge that matched the set, it was just way too big for this tiny living room, so we took it downstairs. later, we switched it, and put the couch against the side wall....
so this is our 3rd generation of living room arrangements. lol.

Oh I just love the way you rearranged things!! Well, not that I have ever seen it before, but I like how your sofa's back is to the front door. To me, you created a foyer AND a living room at the same time!! Two distinct areas. Wow!

Ohhhhh I love this look!!!!!! Its so elegant!!! Now you need a little table behind your couch! :) I dont know what they are called. LOL but they are like half tables. I LOVE IT!!!!!!
oh yes, that would be so nice. i wish i had the room for it. the aisle isn't very wide between the hutch and couch. i just put a throw on the back to decorate it up a bit.
