Well, what do you know??
My world is not very big. I have a home and family. I am a child to my Savior, a mom to my 2 boys, a wife to my husband, and a best friend to my sister. I love my little world and wouldn't trade it for anything. What else is there than to love and be loved, to care for and be cared for, to teach and be taught?

Church going Frappie!
we woke up Sunday morning, and the power was out in the neighborhood. i
didn't want frappie to get too cold in the house if the power didn't go
back on while we were at church, so....
i took her with me! i teach kindergarten sunday school, so it was
perfect, they were so thrilled with her. i had a little travel case
for her, and she was just fine the whole time. i even took her out,
and let the kids see her at one point.
so, frappie has been on her first outing. lol. :):)

Still sick as a dog
Sorry, my bloggie friends. I've been absent from blogland.
This is my note of excuse, lol. I'll have my mom sign it when she comes over to visit. ROTFL.
I'm still sick as a dog. My head and stomach are just revolting. Yikes.
My daddy was a wonderful daddy today, and stopped by. He took my library items back to the library, and then brought back lunch. I love my Daddy!!
Jeff has been just perfect. I rave about him! As you can all read, I think he's just the best husband in the world. He played with Gabey all night, so I could veg on the recliner. Right now, he's running out to get me some gingerale, and after dinner mints.... and some movies. I LOVE HIM!!

What a Difference It Makes
What a difference good Godly music makes in a heart and life! I remember when I was away from the Lord, and listening to Alanis Morisette, how bitter, and down on everyting I was. I would start to hate everything. Since I've been close to the Lord again, and since I've purged out all that junky, worldly, hateful music from my life, I feel so much lighter, you know? The music I hear now, is so beautiful, and loving, and it helps me fall in love with the Lord, and live the right kind of life!
Just now, I've been looping the same song over and over for at least 20 minutes! My church website, put up a few of our music specials, and this is becoming my favorite song. When the Ladie's Quartet sang this, Pastor asked them to repeat it, and I was clapping inside, because I was so into it, and really longed to keep hearing it. (Janna, I'm so sorry, LOL..... Poor Janna was at the tail end of bronchitis at the time. Of all times for him to have them sing a song twice. She is the one singing the second verse solo. She has the voice of an angel, I just have to say again.)
Now that it's on the internet, I can listen to it as often as I want!
I hope this link works! This is the song I just ADORE!!

Some People are Cat People...
Some people are dog people, and some people are cat people. I never got into either. I had a cat and liked her, but when I had to give her away, I realized that I wouldn't want another one.
It has recently come to me like an epiphany.... I really am a bunny person! I am totally in LOVE with this little bunny bean!
She's adorable. She's a stinker! She's a comedian! She's her own "person". I love everything about her!
This week has been just fantastic. She's been bounding up to me whenever I come into her room. She's been chasing me around. I'll run to the one end of the room, and she'll follow, then back again.
She's been letting me pick her up! I love that. I like bringing her into the living room, and having her sit on my lap, so I can pet her. She's been letting me pet her for really long periods too! Plus, when I stop, she'll follow my hand, and nudge me to do more. I have her spend time in here with us too, in the play pen. I think that has been a great thing for her. She gets to spend time with us, and know what's going on. She has her little Build A Bear house to sit in and feel cozy. She has a TON of cardboard to chew on, LOL, along with her hay, pellets, and water.
Also, I've started giving her a Romaine lettuce leaf every day. She just gobbles that up!

Feel a Mess
I don't want to complain, so I won't go on and on about how poopy I feel, ROTFL.
I just haven't been on the blogs as much as usual, and wanted to let you know I'm OK, just feel out of sorts. Just about every minor problem that could go wrong with my body is. But, praise the Lord, it's nothing serious, nothing I haven't been through many times before, and nothing that will linger too long.
LOL.

OOO a Grape!
Frappie tried grapes yesterday, mmmm, sweet! She's soooo picky. I've given her fruits and veggies to try, and she's nibbled at one orange, and the grapes, and one tomato. Everything else, she gives it a sniff, and just hops away.
I ran out of my Lofty's pillow treats for her, and went to 3 stores looking. I must have gotten them at Walmart, I should have gone there first. LOL.
Well, I'm back to picking her up, she's just got to get used to it. I have to be able to handle her, so I can brush her and stuff. She's just great once she's in my lap. I also put her in the playpen with us in the living room. Hey, it was just sitting in the basement, so I decided we might as well use it, until I can get the little gate pen for her.

My Opinion- Priorities
Okay, I've been hearing stuff about the cruel treatment of animals that are to be used for food, like turtles overseas, and KFC chickens. I do love animals but.....
Stop thinking so much about the animals and start fighting for HUMAN life!! Holy cow, people! We're allowing millions of HUMAN babies to be murdered!! Cruelly! INHUMANLY! We are just turning our heads to the atrocity!
We're spending all this time fighting for animal rights, and we have our priorities ALL off. In the beginning, God gave Adam dominion over the animals. Animals don't have a soul like humans do, and animals are meant for food. We are omnivores. There is no nice way to kill something. You know? I mean to take any life is a nasty business, but we eat meat, and there's nothing wrong with that.
I keep a sweet little bunny as a pet. I wouldn't think of taking her for food, because I have made her personally part of our family. I do know that rabbit meat is a very fine meat indeed for people who need food. That's how rabbits got domesticated in the first place. The monks kept bunnies for food. They started breeding for nicer features, like more meat. That's just the way it was.
I'm not saying I'm happy about it all. I don't think I could go out and kill animals personally, I'd be too sad. I eat meat though, so I can't tell everyone to stop killing animals for food. (I still don't understand hunting and fishing just for sport though, I think it's fine if the animals are going to be used for food, but I don't like the idea of killing just for sport.)
What I'm trying to say is that we've gotten our priorities all mixed up. We're making animal life more important than human life. Human life matters! Let's spend our energy on THAT please.

I can't believe I forgot to post the picture of my cool socks!
My blog buddy and I had our own sock exchange, and it was so fun!
These are the ones she gave me, and you can look on her blog for the ones I got her! She's at Thimble Thoughts, I have a link on the sidebar (if you've never visited her blog, please do, she's awesome!)They're slouched a little, but there are cute frogs, and hearts with Happy Valentine's Day on them! I wore them to Sunday School for my kindergarteners!

I've been sort of MIA
I'm realizing I haven't posted anything for a while. It's been a tiring week. We had a revival, and I only got to actually attend 3 of the 6 meetings. I got to see one on the internet too. My hubbie gets home pretty late, and it's just rough trying to rush out the door after he's been outside all day. We just tried not to stress ourselves out about, and took the week as it came. Other than the revival, I had a ton of things going on. When it rains, it pours! LOL.
I got to work this week, and that was nice. I also went to the Home and Garden Show with my sister and adopted sister, Michelle. It was Michelle's birthday, and they took Wednesday off to go. I LOVED it. I was just lured into EVERY single sales booth. It was so much fun! Gabey was really good, and had a blast with his 2 favorite aunties. I bought a fun nail art kit, with art pens and brushes. I had fun practicing with them. I also borrowed money from Chrissy, and got the coolest hair clip. I'll definitely showcase it in a "Do the 'Do". Michelle also gave me another cool hair thingie that makes buns, and an Oxyball Detergent kit. I haven't tried it yet. I keep wondering how it knows not to spit out soap in the rinse cycle. lol.
Today was the busiest of all. I had my dad come over to watch the baby (well, Patty Nanna really watched him. lol.) and I went to a OBGYN appt. (just routine, I'm all healthy.), then we went to lunch, and to the pet shop.
I, of course, got bunny junk from the pet store, and Gabey wandered around, carrying a hamster home.
After that, I dropped the baby back at home, and left again for an eye appointment. I finally ordered new glasses. I knew the ones I have right now were old, but I didn't realize. They're 7 years old! How funny. LOL. I'll take pictures when I get my new ones in. My optometrist who fits me for contacts is out because of surgery. He had open heart surgery and is recovering. I'm very sad about that. I've known him since I was in college. They're my favorite place to go. I'll have to wait about a month though to get fitted for contacts, but at least I'll have nice glasses (a really cool metalic fuscia).
We also had a lot of trouble with the van this week. The battery isn't new, and because of the cold weather, we literally had to use the car charger every time we wanted to start it. What a fun time that was in the 0 degree temps. Yikes. It started nicely today, now that it's warmer (comparatively).

Bunny Board
I found a message board for rabbit owners! I can ask them questions, and put up my photos and stuff. It's a Yahoo group!
http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/therabbitworld/
One of the owners said, I may just have a bunny that doesn't like to be picked up. Because they're ground animals, it's better just to play with them on their level. She's definitely not shy with me. I lay on the ground, and she just hops all around me, and on me.
I got new Timothy Hay. I had a bag, and I just knew it was a bad batch. It seemed browner, and didn't smell as sweet. I got another bag someplace else, and it was perfect. I think it was the same brand and everything. I'll have to tell the pet shop that they got a bad order.
So Cold
And the weather today is.....
COLD!
It's 0 degrees! and it feels like -19 degrees!! YIKESSSS!
The high today is 7, and the low is 0! I'm sooo thankful to have a warm house to be in.
I'm praying that the Lord keeps my husband safe, as he delivers the mail. God, help him stay warm, and not get frostbite.

The hat doesn't work. LOL.
I tried wearing the hat I made the other day, and I used to large of a hook, LOL. I was freezing in it. The wind just plowed right through. I have another idea though, so this wasn't a total loss, and it did give me something to do on a winter afternoon.

A Groundhog Day Joke
Over breakfast one morning, a woman said to her husband,
"I'll bet you don't know what day this is."
"Of course I do," he answered as if he was offended, and left for the office.
At 10:00 a.m., the doorbell rang and when the woman opened the door, she was handed a box of a dozen long stemmed red roses.
At 1:00 p.m., a foil-wrapped, two-pound box of her favorite chocolates was delivered.
Later, a boutique delivered a designer dress.
The woman couldn't wait for her husband to come home.
"First the flowers, then the chocolates and then the dress!" she exclaimed."I've never had a more wonderful Groundhog Day in my life!
