My world is not very big. I have a home and family. I am a child to my Savior, a mom to my 2 boys, a wife to my husband, and a best friend to my sister. I love my little world and wouldn't trade it for anything. What else is there than to love and be loved, to care for and be cared for, to teach and be taught?

Frappie may have a new home
i posted on my rabbit forum about wanting someone from there to adopt frappie. and a great girl with 2 companion bunnies from michigan responded. she may be able to come on saturday to see frappie.when i got frappie, i really had the plan to make her a house bunny. she had her own room, and it was wonderful. now, with the 2 boys, and gabey being sick, she's just not getting the life i want for her. it's an OK life, lol.. i mean, she's fine, but if i can get someone to have her that will let her roam around and play, and have salads, and all the cool stuff i wanted for her, that would be best.it's just stressful with her, gabey keeps messing around with her in her cage. he pokes her, and thinks it's hillarious when she growls at him. yikes. he puts all kinds of weird things through the bars at her. and she eats them! poor her. i don't really have the extra money to get her food and bedding and stuff, so that would be a load off, if she were adopted.i don't really feel badly about having her go somewhere else. it's my family first. and my stress level, lol.maybe when the kids are a lot older, i'll get another rabbit. i really like having her.

Crocus

Yard Update.
It's been forever. I've been obsessed with Facebook. I get that way with things. I can only focus on one thing at a time, so it's either www.super-babies.com or www.etsy.com or www.facebook.com or here. lol.
It's been a great spring so far. The weather is gorgeous, and we've been getting outside every day, pretty much. I covered some chairs and stuff, with tablecloth, so I could just keep them outside, and we're making one part of the front into a little patio section. It gets a lot of shade, so it will be a nice place to hang out. here are some pics of it. We dug up the ground, and have been using the extra to fill in a huge hole left by the sewer people a few years ago. We couldn't mow it well, it kept getting stuck going up and down the sides, and mowing the ground bald! LOL. We used the border stones to fill around the back by the house where some fo my roses, and stuff are.

The Trip
We went and sat through the presentation, and were very good little hubbie and wife, and said NO to the sales pitches....
so we got our vacation!
it's for 3 days and 2 nights with airfare and hotel paid. i think it will be to orlando.

Waking up
I've been feeling good the past few days. The weather has potential for the first time in months! Gabey and I have been outside a few times already. Very nice. He's allowed to dig now, which is his favorite outdoor activity. LOL. Gideon is an awesome baby! I don't think i'm being biased either. he's so easy to make laugh, and he LOVES people. just a very good baby. and BEAUTIFUL!!! lol. his white blonde hair is so fun, sticking up, and his huge sparkley eyes, and wonderful laugh.
we had two pieces of GREAT news just yesterday! one is a little secret until we figure out some details (no not pregnancy, LOL), but the other is ok to share!....
we won a TRIP! i'm sure it's one of those time share sales things, lol, so we're going tomorrow to get our info, and probably listen to someone trying to sell us something. BUT afterwards we'll walk out with a vacation to Orlando for jeffie and me! airfare and hotel accomodations! woohoooo! we'll have a year to do it, so i'm thinking, probably when the weather STINKS here. lol, like next Jan!
i started Facebook, so if you're on facebook, look me up. i'm a gift MONSTER. lol. i love sending their little gifts to friends. they have adorable flowers, jewelry and winnie the poohs, and cupcakes, and so many cool cyber gifts to share. lol.
(i keep it super clean though, so if i get people who have swearing or junk like that, i'll probably delete them, so don't be offended if you get deleted off my friend's list... it's not that i don't want to be your friend in real life LOL, i just can't have junk on my facebook. :):):)
I got to go to a wonderful ladies' meeting in Ashtabula over the weekend, and my sister was one of the speakers! it was so awesome! i was so encouraged, and challenged about things ranging from being a better stay at home mom, to organization, being a proverbs 31 woman, being good to my husband.
i've decided to try to make one real meal a week to start off with.... for me that's a huge feat!! everything we have besides spaghetti is processed, canned, or fast food. this week, i'm going to try a pot roast!! my friend taught me how, so i'm going to tackle it on friday!! woohooo! i've decided that if i can get a few simple recipes that i'm good at, it will be so much better for us. i can do it every week if i want, and if i can learn to use my crock pot, i'll be set, and we won't be forced to stop at McDonalds all the time. :)

Nothing's Up, lol
We're just hanging around the house. It's been wacko weather, as I'm sure everyone in the country can attest to. There was an ice storm a few days ago, and then more snow covering the ice. Now it's snowing again.
I've just been keeping myself busy with making pillows. I made Gabey another car pillow, and I'm stocking my little shop with pocket pillows.

This was such a great car show!! Gabey had so much fun!
Here are some pics from the car show....
This was the biggest thing for Gabey. There was a Herbie at the show, and he just hung around there for so long. He didn't want to leave. I was talking to the owner, and he let Gabey come in the tape, and visit with Herbie up close, and even get inside! It's a very rare, special thing that he did that for Gabey, and I'm sure Gabey will remember it for years.
