Long Video of Frappie in her play yard

I have sad news. My baby bun, Keeley, died. She was at the vet for a week, and just didn't pull through. I'll miss her so much, but I'm so glad to have Frappie back.
Here is a video of Frappie in her play yard. I just kept filming, because she kept rewarding me with more fun binkies and jumps. :)

Scrapblog of Keeley and Frappie

Frappie's Home!!

A while ago, I emailed asking for my bunny Frappie back, and it didn't work out at the time. I decided to get Keeley, and surprise!!!! The lady emailed me back saying I could have Frappie back! I am so happy. I have two of the most beautiful bunnies! Here is a slideshow of Frappie's homecoming!

Slideshow of Babydoll, plus Pics of her Closet Condo

I'm so impressed with Babydoll so far. She's really easygoing. She's fun to cuddle, and is doing very well at giving me signals when she needs to go back to her litter pan. She's only had one accident, and that was because I didn't realize that she wasn't just exploring, but looking for a place to go. LOL.

I made a cage in the CLOSET for her, LOL. I took off the door, and she's out of the way, but right there for us. I can build up and back when she gets bigger and more active. I put gates up, and have been letting her run the hallway for bits.
Here is a pic of her new closet condo! ROTFL!

New Addition

I'm not one to advocate getting bunnies for Easter. I understand how many bunnies are abandoned after finding out they're not as easy as they seem. j

BUT... I'm been missing my bunny for months, I gave her up in November, and regretted it so much. I even emailed the new owner asking for Fraps back, but she wasn't willing.

I decided that I didn't want to be without a bunny. I headed up to the pet store where I got Frappie, and saw, this adorable little thing.

She chose me right away, and I took her home with me.

I named her my Babydoll.

Charlie's in a new home

I put the pets up on Craigslist, there were quite a few reasons for giving them up, money, stress, etc.

Someone adopted Charlie last night. I'm glad. The guy seemed really nice, and owns another Yorkie, so he knows about the breed already.

A nice lady is coming to get Frappie this weekend. She owns 2 other lionheads and spoils them, so I know Frappie will do well with her.

Going to Consolidate

If I can do it, I'm going to try to consolidate my blogs. I want to paste the posts here, and close them out.

I'm going to try to move them chronologically, so the posts go in the date they were posted. Wish me luck.

I'm on Bunspace now.

I'm mostly doing my blogging about Frappie there. She's doing great.

Bunny Days of Summer

It's been a good and bad summer. Gabey's doing great. He's healthy and energetic, and wonderful. We go to our appointment once a month, and other than that, we just have daily medicines to give. We're all waiting patiently for Make a Wish in September.
Financially, it's been pretty yucky. Our van got reposessed. I'm bitter about that, and am just working on getting past it. It's been a hard summer for that reason. I have been without my vehicle, and it makes for a lonnng day sometimes. Jeff is being helpful now, and is starting to take the bus a few times a week, so i can have the car. We are catching up, and just really having to watch ourselves. God has been taking care of us. People have been giving us money, and the church pantry is helpful for food.

Giddy is awesome! He's getting all over the living room in his own hillarious tumble weed way. He can sit up from laying down now, and is in the beginnings of a crawl.

We're having a great time with Frappie, I brought her back up to the living room, and every day I block it off, and let her run around the living room with us. I also have a great play yard that I made from the pen from downstairs. She's a really smart bunny, and is very trainable. I like that.

Frappie may have a new home

i posted on my rabbit forum about wanting someone from there to adopt frappie. and a great girl with 2 companion bunnies from michigan responded. she may be able to come on saturday to see frappie.when i got frappie, i really had the plan to make her a house bunny. she had her own room, and it was wonderful. now, with the 2 boys, and gabey being sick, she's just not getting the life i want for her. it's an OK life, lol.. i mean, she's fine, but if i can get someone to have her that will let her roam around and play, and have salads, and all the cool stuff i wanted for her, that would be best.it's just stressful with her, gabey keeps messing around with her in her cage. he pokes her, and thinks it's hillarious when she growls at him. yikes. he puts all kinds of weird things through the bars at her. and she eats them! poor her. i don't really have the extra money to get her food and bedding and stuff, so that would be a load off, if she were adopted.i don't really feel badly about having her go somewhere else. it's my family first. and my stress level, lol.maybe when the kids are a lot older, i'll get another rabbit. i really like having her.

The Great Escape

Pretty Orange Lionhead Rabbit
So, yesterday, my son went downstairs and decided to help with the bunny. (I had been in the cage earlier, cleaning and sweeping, and giving her food.)

I came down later, and the cage door was open, and.... there was NO bunny! LOL. There was a pair of scissors, a few foamie cars, some playdoh, and the dustpan.

Frappie had a fun vacation in the basement all the way until this morning. I couldn't get her, she kept hiding in the gap in the heater and water heater. Yikes.

Well, today I got drastic, and brought down Vanilla Wafers, put them in her cage, and rattled around until I knew she heard me. She didn't budge, so I rooted her out with a long wrapping paper tube. She ran to the other side of the cage, and I shooed her in the right direction. Finally, she hopped right back into her cage, and I was able to close the door. Frappie enjoyed her Nilla Wafers, and I got the zip ties, and closed the door permanently. I can step over the side, but I had the door, so it would be easier for me if I didn't feel like stepping over. Now, at least I know a little boy can't sneak down, and open it.
