Quiet Evening after the Party

I goofed off with my camera after the boys went to bed, and the family left last night. Here are a few goofy photos I took.

Happy Weekend

We're having a great weekend so far. I got my new camera in the mail, and have been playing with it the past two days. Yesterday, my brother brought his friend, Emily, over for her birthday. He made a really tasty ice cream cake. We made cold cut wraps for dinner, and watched Tangled.  Emily was so sweet, and brought me some bright daisies.

I'm also showing off my Valentine flowers too. I love balloons! I love flowers! I love my hubbie! Giddy and I were able to play Valentine Santa during the day. I made Jeffie eggs and toast for breakfast. We brought lunch to Jeff on his mail route, then we brought Gabey a present and a snack, and finally, we took my sister, Chrissy, flowers at her office in the church. Jeffie had institute in the evening, so Chrissy and I took the boys to Chic- Fil- A, for their kids night.

and i put the ketchup out, because i knew.. lol.

my camera came in the mail! yeah, the box is HUGE. it was actually a whole kit, with almost everything I need

have i mentioned that i really like our geese? lol.

So, here are some random photos with my new camera. I'm quite intimidated by it. I'm used to goofy point and shoots. I've got a lot to learn.

i love how they made the grass into hearts

i had fun taking goofy pics of giddy through the glass, with his eye all huge, and his nose pressed to the glass

Anniversary Date

Jeffie and I got married on December 20th, 2002. I love how cool the date looks 12-20-02.
We got to have a little date, and went to dinner, and drove around wasting time, before heading home. We were passing the lights on the Strongsville town square and decided to stop. I'm so glad we did.

It has been a very, very wet winter

This tunnel had lights that made it looked like dripping icicles!

He Gave Me Such a Gift, He Protected Us

I was supposed to go out to lunch with jeffie, since he's working at the lakewood post office now. I was all excited, but I got a text not to come, and that he'd explain it to me later. I was so bummed. We picked him up after work, and it turns out that there was a murderer loose, and was last seen heading toward 117th (where we were meeting, and where his actual route is). The man had taken his family's lives, and Jeff learned later in the day that he was found, and had taken his own life. When he told me this, I just welled up with tears. I love him so much. He was thinking of our safety, and didn't want us anywhere near there. LOL, he didn't tell me about it until afterwards, because he knew I'd be so worred that he still had to carry near there.I just wanted to brag on him for a little bit. We all need to brag on our love more often, they do so much for us.

Chicken at V's Gourmet

This is a quick slideshow of a fantastic takeout place, called V's Gourmet Chicken and Ribs. A good friend owns the restaurant, and their whole family help run it.
Their chicken is the best ever! It seems to always be pretty crowded with people waiting for something tastey. They do catering, and things like that too.

The most wonderful thing about this restaurant though is their testimony! Paris and his family come to Cleveland Baptist with us, and are sold out soul winners. The family decorated their whole customer area with salvation material, and have a video running non-stop about Jesus. It's so awesome to go in there, and look around, and watch the video about Christ, and then to be able to eat the best fried chicken ever. Jeffie and I went on a mini date on Saturday, and got their meals, and ate them at a spot by the lake. It was really cold, so we only stayed for a few minutes and then went to Borders to spend the rest of the evening.
