Finally, a craft!

Man, it's been forever since I've done any crafts with my poor deprived boy! Monday, I felt really good, and we didn't have anywhere to go, so I pulled out some potato flakes, and we amused ourselves for a long time!

We drew, and then glued potato flakes on construction paper. They will be tossed, LOL, but it was the experience I was looking for anyway.




Then, after all our works of art, we played in the flakes, and pretended it was snow!
That was fun!



We spent some time having trains save eachother, by pulling them out of snowbanks.

Another place for Frappie

I decided to move Frappie into the living room. Right now, she's just on the end table, but when I get rid of the china hutch, there will be more room for her in here.





I like her in here. I get to enjoy her all day, and she's not as lonely as she was, I think.

Selling the China Hutch

I'm going to try selling the China Hutch. I love it, but our house is just too small for it. I'm thinking of selling it for $500.00. If anyone's interested, let us know. I'm going to put it on craig's list soon, but I wanted to give family and friends the chance first, so I know it will have a good home. :)

I'm trying to catch up from the whole week. I've been pregnant, busy, sickly, and just plain lazy, LOL. Here are some pictures of Gabey, of the updated play scenery, and of our birthday outing.

Jeff was folding clothes, and Gabey held up my shirt, and said..."this shirt fits me." so Jeffie let him put it on. LOL.


A birthday present from Jeffie! (We dated at Schlotzskey's, and they sold to a Chipotle, and we haven't been able to go since. Jeffie found one in Willoughby, which is about a 45 min drive.)
We went here for lunch, and I laughed and told him..."You know I'm pregnant, I'm about to bawl right in the restaurant!" It was such a beautiful, romantic surprise.

Us in the park, we brought our game systems. Jeffie got me a Nintendo DS lite for my birthday, and so I let him play my old gameboy, LOL.

A Great Gift!

I woke up on my birthday on Tuesday, and just had to thank God for the gift He gave me in the weather of the day! It was sooo sunny, and we were coatless the whole day!

I had a fantastic day! Jeffie was soo good to me.

Daddy came over and babysat, and Jeffie took me out.
He took me to the thrift store, and I got some cute shirts, and a purse. then he took me to.....
SCHLOTZKY's in Willoughby! I was so surprised! There used to be one by church, and jeffie and i dated there! we were so sad when it closed.
This was just such a sweet surprise.
After that, we stopped at the Rockefeller Greenhouse, and I got some pictures of such nice flowers, and orchids!
Then we just stopped quickly at the park and sat by the creek, before coming home.

I had a horrible headache that night, it had been building a little bit all day. i went to bed early and woke up at around 2 sooo hurting. I tried to take something, and ended up getting sick. So, my sweetie hubby massaged my neck and shoulders at 2 in the morning, so I could finally get back to sleep.

I felt some relief the next morning, and realized it was because it was RAINING. yuck. Then the next day it was snowing, and it has been cold and snowy ever since.
I just thank the Lord for that one beautiful day.

Micnic

Today was pretty nice out, so I decided to go out in back for a few hours. It was nice, a little chilly, but not bad. Gabey was happy as a clam, finally being able to play with his trucks outside.

I got hungry and brought out some lunch, and decided to call our mini-picnics....

So, if you hear me talking about a Micnic, you'll know I mean, a mini picnic.

Lucy!

I'm reading a book about Lucille Ball!
I LOVE it! It's an autobiography straight from her. She had recorded it on tapes, and then put it away because she didn't want to maybe hurt Desi from some of the things she talked about. They both loved eachother their whole lives.

But I'm learning soooo much about her, I've always liked her, and my one friend is a huge fan, and it's been so much fun getting to know Lucy better through Shelley's knowledge and love of her. I have a lot of old movies, and it's cool to see the scenes that Lucy's in! She was a gorgeous lady!

I think this is the beginning of a great friendship (me and Lucy, LOL.)

I sat and watched Frappie eat her treats this morning, and it was just a joy to watch.
She had apple wedges, and man, did she just plow through them, and then without even a rest, she moved straight to the romaine lettuce leaf, and chewed through the entire thing. LOL.

She's really started liking fresh food. I'm glad. I realized that she was just too young to enjoy things before. Now, she just plows through everthing. I've given her orange, romaine lettuce, apple, grape, banana, parsley, cucumber, and carrots.
She gets romaine lettuce every day, and I just bought parsley, she'll get some of that every day too, then I just switch out on what fruit and stuff she should get.

She's adorable, she has the night routine down, and probably wishes I were more consistant. Night time comes, and I notice she's just sitting by the gate waiting for me to come. I go and get the treats, and put some in her cage, and she hops in right away. :):)

Working on the Set for School Play

My parents are so awesome! I asked them to help me do some of the basecoat painting. They came up to church with me yesterday, and helped sooo much. With the basecoats done, it frees me up to just do the detail work now. :)

Oh Give me a Home....

I'm trying to figure out where to relocate Frappie's cage in the house.
I just found out that i'm going to have a baby, so obviously the new baby will get the spare room, lol. But, where oh where do we put the bunny?

I let her roam the house 2 days in a row, and well, i just wasn't comfortable with that. I think we're going to have to just set her up somewhere with a gate around it to let her have some space to run. So many bunny owners let their bunnies run the house like cats, and I did try, but I don't think I can keep that up. Also, since the baby's coming in the fall, I had to take the pack and play down, I don't want it ruined before then, LOL. I may just find a cheap used one at the thrift store for the bunny for now. I'm not sure. Oh yeah, and she started eating the baby gate!! She was chewing the plastic, and could almost squeeze her head through. So, I'll have to get a metal one for her, so she can't eat through it.
I put a pan, and cutting board in between, so she couldn't get through. HAHA.

I can't wait til the weather breaks, and spring comes. I'm going to get an outdoor playpen for her, so we can hang out in the grass in the good weather. :):)
